Project Data Control Bar - Survey Database
To access this menu:
- The Survey Database folder is a sub-folder of your Project Data control bar. Expand it to reveal further data categories.
The Survey Database folder in the Project Data control bar provides access to a dynamic context menu system.
For each level of the initialized database, various options are available. Only options relevant to your survey database folder are displayed, and some options are available only for certain data types, for example, a reporting template.
Generally, the deeper you go into the Survey Database folder, the more options you can access. Options are provided for each item, plus functions for more general database areas. The most specific commands are listed at the top of the menu, with broader commands below.
For example, if you right-click the Designed Pit Surfaces folder under Pits >> (Pit Name) >> Areas >> (Area Name), you can open the Configure Database panel with settings pre-filled for pit surface data. You can also set and manage the current pit or area, or configure general database settings.
